How do I make a custom piece of jewelry? After you click Make Jewelry you will be guided through three questions: (1) what you want to make, (2) the size or type, and (3) which beads you want to use. Then you'll get to our special Beading Board where you'll be able to design your piece, build it, name it, save it, and order it. Why do I have to go through those Three Steps first? Why can't I just start my project? We need to know what you want to make, what size or type, and what beads you want to use first! That's customization! How do I pick out what beads I want to use? We made it simple. Our beads are divided into 5 Jewelry Boxes: Fancy, Sparkly, Glittery, Small Hole Plastic, and Large Hole Plastic. In Step 3, you'll get to pick out which Jewelry Box you want to use. Is this website just for kids? No! Adults are encouraged to check out the beads in the Fancy, Sparkly, and Glittery Jewelry Boxes. These Jewelry Boxes contain semi-precious, glass, and stone beads of high caliber that appeal to adults. Items including earrings made with beads from these boxes are strung on wire with your choice of gold-plated or silver hardware. So what beads do you have for kids? Children enjoy the beads in the Small Hole Plastic and Large Hole Plastic Jewelry Boxes. Bracelets and necklaces made with plastic beads are strung on stretchy cord and knotted. What is an Allowance Account? An Allowance Account lets parents set up an account with money in it on behalf of their favorite little designer. Parents control the release of all personal and financial information, set limits on how much their child may spend, and must approve all orders before they are submitted.
